Scouts, Beavers, & Cubs
A joining fee of £11 is payable, this covers the cost of a yellow necker, logbook and all badges throughout the child's time in the group. Additionally a subscription of £18 per term is payable - this covers the hire of the Hall, insurance and equipment required for all activities.
Beavers:

Open to boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years of age (There is a waiting list for Beavers - it is best to register children's names in advance, as early as their 5th birthday is recommended).

Meet: Thursdays at Barton Institute (Village Hall) 6.00pm to 7.15pm

Cubs:
- Open to boys and girls aged 8 to 10/11 years of age - They can progress
to Scouts atany time between their 10th & 11th birthday
- Meet: Mondays at Barton Institute (Village Hall) 6.30pm to 8pm

1st Barton Scout Group:
The Group is part of Richmondshire District. The District Commissioner is Ian Appleyard
- Open to boys and girls aged 10/11 to 14/15 years of age - They move
on to Explorer Scouts at any time between their 14th & 15th birthday
- Meet: Thursdays at Barton Institute (Village Hall) 7.30pm to 9pm
