REFUSE CREWS ON THE ROAD
Refuse wagons are out on the Richmondshire roads again today.
Crews are catching up with collections in Middelton Tyas, Barton, Stapleton, Newton Morrell, Downholme, Aske and Hartforth areas
Recycling collections of garden waste due to take place today (Friday) in the Leyburn, Wensleydale, West Witton, Preston Under Scar and Redmire areas remain cancelled, However collections of glass, cans, plastic bottles an paper will be taking place in these areas are being collected in these areas today.
Refuse collections are also taking place today in Wensleydale, Coverdale, and Bishopdale.
There are still some areas of Wensleydale, Swaledale and Arkengarthdale that remain unsafe to access at the moment but arrangements will be made to make collections as soon as the weather improves.
There are also some rural areas which we were not able to access yesterday due to the road conditions but we will make a collection as soon as the road conditions improve, the areas affected , Scotton Gardens, Spencely Place Aldbrough St John and outlying areas in Melsonby, Gayles, Dalton, Cliffe and Newsham.
