Barton Institute
(otherwise known as Barton Village Hall)
The day to day running of Barton Village Hall is carried out by Barton Institute (a registered charity) that is otherwise known as the Village Hall Management Committee. The custodian trustee is Barton Parish Council
Built in 1908 the building the hall is fast approaching its centenary. Like many other villages, Barton relies on the hall and the Playing Fields Association for many of its leisure and social activities. It plays an important part in helping to meet the cultural and other needs of the village.
